I think it was Arthur Brown's "Fire" :D then "Girly" by The Peddlers, "Itchykoo Park" then onto Deep Purple. Oh and I can't forget Greg Rollie with Santana.
So my timeline was very much pop to rock. Jazz much later.
Great list. Fire was probably one of the first songs I tried to learn on organ.
